Who we are
The Creator Index is produced by CourseLaunchr, trading as Creator (getcreator.io). We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller under the GDPR. You can reach us at stijn@getcreator.io.
What we use
About the advisors we score
- From your public LinkedIn profile: your name, profile photo, headline, About section, Featured items, profile links, follower count, whether your profile has a banner and custom address, and your posts from the last 90 days with their numbers of reactions, comments and reposts.
- Also from your public LinkedIn profile: your firm’s name and size, your city and state, and the CFP® certification you list. When we check it against CFP Board’s public lookup, we note whether it shows there.
- What we work out from that: your scores, three strengths, the one change that would raise your score most, and the reasons behind each judgment.
About people who use our forms
Your name, email address, LinkedIn link, firm, what you asked us to do, and the link that brought you to the site.
We do not use anything that is not public, and nothing about your clients.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To produce and publish the Creator Index. Our legitimate interest in publishing research on how financial advisors use LinkedIn. Only the 100 advisors on The Creator 100 are shown publicly, with their name, profile photo, firm, location, rank, score and three strengths. Nobody else’s score is published.
- To contact advisors we scored about their score. Our legitimate interest in business contact about your public professional profile. We may send you a personal summary of your 90 days on LinkedIn: your posts, reactions, comments and followers, how they compare with other advisors, your two most-engaged posts and your profile photo. It goes only to you. For the 100 advisors on The Creator 100, the same summary is also shown on their page, so they can share it. You can object at any time and we will stop.
- To answer what you ask for in a form. Your request, and your consent when you tick the box to be emailed about your score. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that process it for us: Vercel (hosts this website and stores form entries), HighLevel (our contact database, when we follow up with you), Apify (collects public LinkedIn profiles and posts for us, without logging in to LinkedIn), Anthropic (the AI model that scores the judgment items), Cloudflare and Microsoft Clarity (site analytics). Some of them are based in the United States. When data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
- Raw data read from LinkedIn, including profile photos and personal summaries: deleted after 90 days.
- Scores: kept for 24 months, so we can show changes from month to month.
- Published lists, with the photos of the advisors on them, stay online as a record of each month. If you ask to be removed, we take you off every list within 30 days.
- Form requests: kept while we are in touch with you, and deleted when you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, or to receive a copy. You can object to our use of it at any time, including to being contacted. Use the removal and correction form or email stijn@getcreator.io. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or to the authority where you live.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not identify you. Microsoft Clarity shows us how pages are used, such as where people click and how far they scroll, and can replay a visit to one page. It runs without cookies here, so it cannot link one page view to the next, and it hides what you type into our forms.
